quick question

I finished my engine swap (460) and have my truck running and I just wanted to make sure of something. I have a Dana 44 in the front and I was wondering if this is strong enough to withstand the 460. Kind of a stupid question, but i just want to make sure..

Thanks.

I have ran a 44 in three different trucks with a 460 and haven't broke any unless I hooked it to a pulling sled. I have broke more Dana 60 and 70 rears than 44 fronts. Just make sure the axle joints stay in good shape and it helps if you put full circle snap rings on the axle joints.

Ok cool, thanks for the info. Im not going to do too much four-wheeling, atleast nothing hardcore, and later down the road im most likely going to rebuild the front just for the hell of it. So since im at it, will my 9" with 3.55 gears hold up just fine too?
