so, im at the local diesel shop and one of the mech. says check this out.
so he shows me a bill, with list of broken pieces to include purchasing a new long block and all the fixins, so heres the story i got. 7.3 powerstroke in a pump truck with a 30K pump system in the bed, so ended up being water in the fuel, fuel filter and fuel lines, owner adds a heat type additive for diesel fuel, it dissapates the water but the fuel water seperator doesnt catch the water now, and flows through the fuel filter and forms back into water droplets, is pushed through the rail into the injector, superheated at the injector tip, and explodes blowing the injector tip off, and through the piston, which intales breaks the rod and scars the crank, ruining the injector, while the motor turned a few times before it was shut down, a fragment of the piston head bends a valve and goes out the exhaust into the turbo, at which time it tears up all the blades, IN ALASKA THATS A 17K PARTS AND LABOR MISTAKE, new rebuilt long block found local for 11K.

thats my assumption of HEET and the fuel water seperator, and unfortunatly, shipping anything up here with any kind of size or weight normaly cost as much as the item being shipped.
