3 things I absoulty HATE about the 6.4 diesels and the 08.
1- the grille urgh the signal light/ headlights just look awkard
2- the way a 6.4 starts, sounds like a small gas engine there is no snap sounds like muy mom's Taraus when starting
3- the tailgate is the lamest seen I have seen "SUPER DUTY, and I found out a blue oval belongs on the grille NOT a tailgate.
Very true about the mileage on the 7.3's Colin. The thing I dont like is looking at the odometer and seeing how many it has! I normally like driving lower mileaged vehicles. Guess its still low mileage for what it is lol.
Gotta look at the overall picture of the 08's too Ryan. They arent perfect in everyones eyes, but all in all they seem to be a pretty solid truck. Ill take an overall decent truck over a crappy truck anyday!
I just always also think about when the first 6.0's came out and the problems that some guys experienced. I would hate to go spend 60 grand and have a lemon motor!
Sherm, the IDI's still used a regular type air cleaner so if you made an adapter you could fit a chrome aftermarket one so at first glance it looks like a gas engine.
I tried to find an engine picture to show you but people never have engine pictures. I can find a picture of someones floormat and mud flaps but apparently they don't care what's under the hood.
yeah i think its easy to distinguish a diesel between gas older diesel are louder even with quite exhaust it would be quite hard to fool someone unless they where that dumb
