Has anybody tried??????
I have a 265 piece craftsman set that I keep in my trucks toolbox to work on stuff in the field to keep from having to drag it to my shop. Now this black case is beginning to came a pain in my butt. I've gotten an idea of a tool bag to put all that stuff in. I was going to use some plastic socket organizers. At lowes I seen their kobalt slip thrue sets and they come with a ratchet and a few sockets and extention on a flat carry caddy. It would be perfect if they are any good at all. My biggest concern is w/ this type of ratchet only those kind of sockets can be used. Is expanding the sizes har to do or are they getting more common? Oh this set is just as cheap as buying the organizers.
Any input is welcomed.
Anyway, the import brand I have as a "proprietary" wrench to drive the sockets, but I discovered it's really just a 25mm closed-end ratchet.
I received it as a gift last christmas, and I do have to admit I find it very useful for removing accessory bracketry as often times some of the studs are several inches long, as the bracketry is layered on and on and on...
There are several different types of these as well.
That was the feeling I got. That it was just a ratchet wrench with sockets w/ the mating ends that fit.
How does the pieces do when it comes to torque?. Alot of bolts on the farm is seized pretty good. I hate slipping tools. I love a 1/2 ratch you can really get some torque on it.
