I have one but they are only made for 92-96 trucks.

Primary rig is:
95' F-150 EB 300/6 5 spd with 4" Superlift, MSD, Ram Air, Gibson Exhaust, 32" BFG Muds
NEW PICS IN MY GALLERY!! :-)

Then theres:
88' F-250 Superduty 351 + c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 and a
3 spd column shifter. Top speed, 65mph, Go Baby Go!

The newest addition to the Ford family is a 99' Mustang GT 4.6L

you can make your own ram air setup. it's really easy. just get another snorket, some door rivets. rivet the snorkel to the beather after cutting the hole out. and some ducts to under the bumper or where ever and that's it

Mustang: How about a pic of the ram-air setup? I looked on your gallery.. but it didnt have anyhting of the engine.

I was planning on making my own this summer. I planned on removing the factory snorkle thing that comes off the box and replacing it with 2-3in hoses that go through the radiator support( where the snorkle was.. but enlarge the hole a tad) and then make a collector that would replace that rubber "flap" behind the grill. The collector would be behind the grill but 3-4in past the edge of the grill opening ( if that makes sense to anyone) its basically an improved factory setup, in my mind at least

In the Summit catalog in the Mustang section (I think) towards the back is a picture of a ram air set up.

It might look a little wierd to have a snorkel end hanging from the bottom of the bumper, just my 2 cents.

I like the idea of bringing air in from the grill. There's a lot of posibilities. Toyota Supra's (80's) have something like that, where the air comes from the grill, through the filter which is totally enclosed, and into the intake. I thought about trying that with a K&N cone filter and some sort of duct work.

Also, the washer fluid/radiator tank seems like it could be moved around under the engine - like turn it around to where the factory air filter box sits. That places it kind of close to the fuses, though. But that would open up a lot of room for an intake/duct/whatever.

I started this on my 82 a while back: http://www.stfx.ca/people/edmacdon/fordpage/hood.jpg
I'm eventually gonna finish it... The 'ol Merc Cyclone's ran a similar setup, but, I haven't been able to come up with a good way of hooking the holes in the hood into the intake that I could do for cheap(budget was very tight while I was working on that) and, I changed the hood when I put the body back on, and, haven't really done anything with it.

You might try adapting an inlet tube from an 88-91 model or a 92-96 deisel. My 1990 came stock with ram air, all I had to do was remove the baffle in the front of the tube. For some reason, in 92 they started running this tube over the top of the radiator where the air can get nice and hot. The earlier tube sticks through the core support and hides right behind the grill.

Cervin's makes the ram-air hood and kit for the 92-96. You can find them at cervinis.com, or you might be able to find them at miscellaneous mustang shops.

Yup, i got mine from cervini's, sorry i havnt been around much since i don't have an inline six anymore after my truck got totalled. The two scoops on the front of the hood, underneath, have separate ducts that flow over to the airbox (on the underside of the hood). Once it gets to above the airbox, both ducts form a square that when the hood is closed, connects ontop of the airbox. They give you a special thing to flip the airbox and a lid to connect it up. There is a drain built into the ducts..where they form a square, that drains the water out, i've sprayed water from a hose down there and it didnt get anything wet. Good product info at cervinis.com.

Primary rig is:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Sunroof, and some kablamo Firestoner Wilderness ATs .

Pictures coming soon.

Then theres:
99' Mustang GT 4.6L
88' F-250 Superduty 4x4 351/c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 with a
3 spd column shifter. Top speed is 65mph, Go Baby Go!
