Problem Seeing Guages
#31
I wonder if they type of sunglasses you wear makes a differance?
Both me and my wife have very good polorized sunglasses, and we can see all of the gauges very well.
I drove this truck on Saturday and I thought about this thread, so I keep looking at all of the black background gauges, they stood out very well even in the bright sunlight!
The other thing I find is that I don't even really look at the gas gauge anymore, I use the trip computer, it tells me how many miles we have left. So I rarely look at the old fashioned (gas gauge)

Also on msn.com today they said that gas was going to go to $3.50 to $4.00 a gallon soon.
A list of SUVs had a Expedition EL showing $117 for a full tank.
Seen $3.18 this morning, so I guess it is on it's way.
During the gas wars of the 1960s I seen gas down to 14 cents a gallon.
But of course I was making $1.10 an hour and thought I was doing ok.
Adjusted for inflation, I wonder what this would be in todays dollars.
So I don't know if this is as good as it sounds or not.
