Tailgate latch
Hi all - quick question, I'm sure it's an easy one. Went to open the tailgate on my '79 F100 and the handle busted. I unbolted the handle and pulled it out of the tailgate and it looks like the handle itself is fine, and I can still pull the rods inward by hand to open the tailgate. It looks like all is wrong is the clips that held the pull-rods to the handle are busted. They disappeared into the sheetmetal and are long gone; I have no idea what kind of clips they were. What kind of clips does it take to get this back together? Thanks guys!
