I am picking up a used Superchips for the v10. The guy said that he never even hooked it up. I am wondering say he is lying to me and did hook it up then it will be vin locked?? Is there anyway that I can unlock the VIN?

 

The only way to remove the vin lock is to plug the tuner into the previous vehicle and restore it to stock tuning. It doesn't matter if the previous owner used it or not... so long as he restored the truck to stock tuning you'll be able to use it.
