well i may have sold my ranger for my asking price. if this is the case im gonna try and go ahead and repace all 8 of my injectors instead of the one bad one that i have. my question is on the core charges. what are the chances of me getting the full core charge back? im looking at these stage 1's http://www.dpppower.com/73-injectors.html . i just dont wanna order them and when i send my cores back in they find a ton of stuff wrong with them and go on a deducting spree. if the other 7 are working fine in the truck now and i just have one bad one i should be ok. right? do yall know of any others that have a friendlier core policy?
I wouldn't be too worried. I have Jim Rose stage 2's through Dppp and I didn't have any problems. I'm sure my nozzles were not the cleanest. I think the core charge is with the bigger problems.
I'm not running a tuner yet with them as I'm trying to be proactive on the order of my mods. However, she does put out some good smoke with the 10 K and the bigger nozzles.

you atleast gotta have some fun with your stock clutch before you put the new one in.
so you havent tried your injectors out with a chip yet? wow you are in for a treat!!!!!
You guys need to stop all this encouragement... lol. Nope, I just have stock tunes on it for now. I plan to do the hpop and turbo first and then smoke the heck out of the clutch. lol
Yup I have a 6.0 I-C and 17* HPOP on the shelf. I am saveing for II's and then H2E turbo. I have a LUK clutch on the shelf as well for when I smoke this one.
Ahh.. your a good two steps in front of me. I looked into the h2e but it seemed a little overpriced in my book. The D 66 looks like a pretty good option for a better turbo. My plan is to go with a ceramic clutch of some kind.
I was going to go to Carolina clutch. I agree the H2E is expensive but the d66 has the same thrust bearings as our stock that is why I am going H2E. May be 2 years before I can save that much. At least I am working that way.
Yup more boost adds more thrust pressue on the turbo. I know the d66 is tempting for me but I want reliability. I will have more lag with the H2E but reliable power is what I want.
