I'm still around too, but I've been checking the forum maybe once every two months... and the saddest part, is that I haven't missed much.

We had three meets (that I remember) Here in the south.. It was the same three people each time, with an all time record of 4 trucks at one meet.

It would be nice to get some new life into this group.

Hey David - you should be proud to have had that many meets with that many people. With as spread out and long as Florida is, I hope that we can drum up enough support that we can eventually split Fla. for meets but still offer up annual or semi-annual events.

Have you thought about possibly attending the Okeechobee Mud Fest? Sounds like we may have 3 of us that are going to be there, possibly 4. Who knows, we may find more Ford Truck folks there that don't know about FTE and convert them to this site.

I know I have been basically a lurker here, but I would like to see this site liven up a little too. When I am able to come online, I see that Tony is always posting so I vote for him too.

I also like the idea of region or division leads, that can assist the president in their particular region.

For past truck clubs, I have found if people in a particular town, region, or city start doing the GTG's, others might be more inclined to make the drive. They key is having participation from all over the state, and each region supporting the other regions.

I know Florida is a big state, but one thing I know about Floridians, is they don't mind the drive.
