Here's another welcome

You've found the best place for information on your soon to become obsession. Check out the Articles/Specs section by clicking on the button at the top.. lots of good info on suspensions, engines, interior, etc. Probably not model specific to your 49 but most all can be applied..

Lots of good folks here who are willing to share everything they know (which sometimes isn't necessary). Please post some pictures for our slow readers so they will sit down and be still. And, join in the nonsense.

You will have to choose sides eventually between the stock/restoration group and the 'darksiders' those that choose to customize their trucks to their taste or as I like to think of us... improve on what Henry started. But you don't have to fly your flag just yet. We'll let you have time to formulate your plans for your baby first.

welcome again and have fun.

later
John

Welcome to the board....I think your user name says it all....There is no other way that these builds can be done....short of paying someone else to do it for you.

Welcome!

Another welcome to the site.

There are many benefits to visiting this site; copious information, advice, and someone to talk to about your soon to be obsession. As John stated, plan your build, then be prepared to re-adjust as the build progresses. You will benefit from and save time; as mistakes and research made by others is invaluable.

You will get lots of advice, ......some wanted.

Enjoy the ride.

Tom

Welcome !

I don't have much in the way of brains, but that doesn't stop me from having opinions

Be sure to include where you reside in your signature so's we can see if we are near you.
