glow plugs won't come on

I got in my truck after work today and noticed that my edge atitude display was lit and I didnt even have the key in the ignition. I thought that seemed kind of strange, but I went ahead and put the key in and turned the ignition on to start the glow plugs and the light didnt come on. I tried cyclying the key on and off a few times and the light will not come on. Also the edge stays on regardless of where the key is. The truck will still crank over but will not start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The truck is an 05 f350.

First thought, take the Edge Off and see if the truck will run in stock configuration.

It could definitely be the Edge module then that is causing a problem.
