I think it is a perfect color for a stock 4x4 truck of the era. I remember seeing lots of them painted this color back when they were still current.
Edit: that page appears to show it as a Dodge color?
According to the parts catalog, there was no such colors of greens used in 1959 that are shown on that chart. Two greens were used in 1959. Door Rating Plate COLOR codes: G = April Green and U = Meadow Green.
The wheels on this truck should be painted black, not body color.
Are the digital photos the cause of the poorly aligned doors?
btw: Bell Green shown under the Dodge color chart was only used on trucks sold to the Bell Telephone Company.
The exact same color was used on Packard V12 & L head 6 or 8 cylinder engines from 1921 thru 1954.

When I say I've always wanted a '59 Ford, it was because I loved the old iron and I've been a die hard 4-wheeler...I've been wanting one since the late 1980's. Today I was going through some old 4 wheeler magazines, and found one of the trucks that made me want one even more. It gave me a color scheme that I loved. It's from June 1999.
