62 F100 Dimensions?
Hello everyone. My wife signed up for a charity raffle that I had no idea about, and won me a 1962 Ford F100. I just got the phone call last night. I haven't seen the truck yet, but am anxiously awaiting. One of my first thoughts is will this fit in my garage? Does anyone know the width and length dimensions? The pictures I have seen of it on a website look like a long bed? I don't know anything about old ford trucks so prepare for a lot of future posts. ffice" /><O></O>Your 1962 F100 with a long bed is about 1 feet shorter than my 2006, which is roughly 18.8" long. Width: there are several types of outside mirrors, some fit snug to the body, some are camper mirrors that stick out past the doors...this will affect the width.
Unless the other vehicle in your two car garage is a Hummer, or the garage is Model T size (house built prior to the 1950's), you should have no trouble parking it in your garage. The standard two car garage door is 16' wide, single is 8 feet....the usual depth is 20 feet.
