If it is a new truck at a dealers lot I always go to Fords website and build a truck just like it. Then type in the zip of the dealer to search there inventory. The truck should come up. You click on it and it will have the specs, MSRP, and invoice. There is probably an easier way though. At least I know what the exact invoice is for that exact truck though.
I appreciate your help, but I decided to just buy the truck. I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions, but I'm still not so sure if I got a great deal. I ended up buying an 07' f550 XL diesel, landscape ABC 12' composite body , no limited slip rear or 4x4. total price 42,063 + 309.50 fees and 3084.41tx. total price 45511.91 for 5 years @1.9%
That seems like a pretty good price from what you listed. It is a lot better than that other one that was 55k or so. As long as you are happy with it, then it is a good deal both ways.
I did not realize it was you at the beginning and you were looking for the F-550 trucks. You can't price them on Fords regular website just for future references. I think you can on there fleet website though.
Yea I'm happy with the truck, but you know I always feel like I could have done better. That's just my nature though, I hardly do any purchases unless I really research and ask questions. There was no doubt the Ford was for me it was just a matter of finding the right truck and salespeople to deal with.
But something always seems to come to light after the papers are signed
