I have a 95 bronco that i noticed some coolant on my sway bar. Its not so bad to where it leaves puddles tho. Everything around the motor looks dry so im guessing theres a hole somewhere in the radiator. I have the chance to get a brand new radiator out of a 89 F-150 with a FI 302. Will that work? Im getting it for free so hopefully it will be good. I also caught my truck on fire too lmao if anyone cares lol! I thought it was pretty sweet i got to use a fire estinguisher lol. But anywho lol. O and also, a Lower plenum from a 302 wont work on a 351 rite?
Do a pressure check to check hoses and rad itself . I know the rad according to my parts book some will fit from 87-96 and there is a i row and 2 row rads. If the outlet for hoses are in same spot and other rad is nice go for it .
I know the lower on 302 port or intake tube r different shape. But there have been post of people using them .But I don't know for sure .
Yes fire extingishers are fun pain to cleanup in car though. Don't ask
The Upper Hose is new. The lower has the part that goes to where the oil filter is, i didnt feel like dealing with them so i left em. I will check them out today. Im thinking about just getting that radiator anyways, becuase the point is its new, and its free lol. The kid said that if i need anything for it i can take it. Hes Scraping it out. So if anyone needs anything let me know. Its an 89 F150 4x4 but the rear axle is gone and the front suspension parts are really bad. The trans is blown and im looking to see if i can get the transfer case. Especially if its the manual shift.
"""Free""" is good My favorite work don't know how I missed that part..So it has the lightening type oil cooler cool . Someone checked the right boxes.
Just replace all clamps if they r factory spring or wire type. Thats where I find leaks on most of the trucks I buy . Good luck
