harder cold starts
I've noticed lately my truck's been getting a little harder to start the first time of the day. I've always had to pump the accelerator a few times even in warm weather and that never bothered me, but now it's taking quite a few cranks even with pumping the gas a few times. Before it would start instantly. Once it fires it runs and idles great. Any ideas here?

harder cold starts
I assume you're talking about your 86 Ford and I assume it is carbureted. If so, it sounds like your electric choke is not working properly. Or you may be in need of a carb rebuild. Carb recbuilds and choke replacement are fairly cheap & easy, if you follow the supplied directions closely...
