I put a spotlight on my 56 last night. I bought it a couple of weeks ago at a fleamarket. My truck had one on it when I bought the truck . I believe that it was the original optional spotlight for the truck . The one I got with the truck was in poor condition , but the new one is nice.It is identical to the first one. I discovered after installing it that it will be necessary to turn the spotlight from the position it would normally "rest" in before raising my forward tilting hood. Wonder how long it will take me to remember that before opening the hood?
The spotlights some droop down without you knowing it.
