This coming summer I decided to take a trip to Italty and Greece with some kids from school and my one teacher. We are going with EF tours and when we are over there we will be visiting Rome, and the Vactican, a few cities in southern Italty and Athens Greece, The Trip will last about 18 days with a three day cruise in the mediterian. I think this is going to be fun and have lots of memmories. this is going to be a lifetime experience
Time spent anywhere, where you can see how other people live, is well worth while. You can see and realise the many ways that we are the same, how we have adapted in different places, and learn about cultures with eloquent histories, and colourful ways of doing things - holidays that are not the same as ours, and the reasons behind them.
And perhaps touch a heart in a faraway place, finding a friend who will remain in your thoughts forever.
-Always provided you don't get killed by one of them.
Keep in mind, you are an American in a foriegn land. It is not the locals who may seek to take advantage of that, and be safe if you can.
Their culture and laws are not the same as ours too - and you should learn all you can about them to help avoid trouble while you are there.
i lived in greece for a year and traveled to italy a few times. very nice place, would love to just live and stay in greece.
you will have no trouble there past what you would have here anyway. heck, the only troubles i ever got anywhere in the world were from other americans.
