Does anyone have any winter plans for working on their truck?
I`ll try to get the 56 M100 close to being on the road in one form or other, it`s been apart for far too long.
I`d also like to pick away at the 53 M100 as well, it maybe a rat rod for this summer but at least I hope to get it rolling down the road once or twice in 08.
hopefully i'll get the 351 pulled b4 too long and get working at that. when the engine's done i may try my hand at bodywork. if all goes well i should have her perculating for early spring... if i get any time!!
Just try and safe up some money so I can get it repainted and the door fixed next summer. And maybe if Santa is really nice to me he'll bring me either a sunvisor or a new 2" cowl hood. Or both, but I haven't been that good of a boy this year.
keep on withthe lowering just got the rear leafs painted and trying to take out the fronts. New heads, 2x2 intake, generator, 2 94 holleys, rebuild tranny and steering box, paint the frame, install rear. Not necesarily in that order
just some light goodies. edlebrock air gap intake, (got that already), 4bbl carb probably 600-650cfm, cam swap-looking at a 461 total duration for a decent lope, headers and duals. while i got it out, we'll check the bearings and all that stuff to be sure we're not working in vain. i guess some cosmetic stuff under the hood too, wires, coil and all that jazz. really like to put limited slip in the read end, but i'm not sure if i should attempt that myself.
Unfortunatly all i get to do this winter is work, work and more work. Its the busy time of the year for us, as the ground freezes and we can drive on the muskeg.
Morris, you have to get on that 56 of yours. It needs to be on the road and driving!
Laredo, you have to get on that mustang too, its too nice to be just sitting there!
