Another person with a 1988 Ford F-250 w/ 7.3 L IDI and a 5 speed manual trannie and 4WD. It's real straight, and has 182K. This is my first diesel. I have previously owned a 1985 Bronco II and a 1990 Bronco II. I felt the need for a diesel engine, but now am in a state of shock over fuel prices.......... :0

Welcome quartercav to the site and the forums. Fuel shock, to me it's no longer a shock. I just accept it and go on. Got my truck, got my car, got to go, oh well. Glad you could join us here. Thanks, folks for the welcome. I've been lurking along reading about the quirks of this model before I bought it. Very valuable information. Appreciate all you do.
