I run Power Service Diesel Kleen, as do many others on here. It can be purchased at Walmart, 99% of all truck stops, 95% of all fuel distributors and 90% of all auto parts stores. Grey bottle for summer and if you live up north (above Atlanta) white bottle for winter (it has de-icer in it). There are also alot of other good fuel additives on the market, but not all of them are available in all areas.
Tranny fluid is not made for injectors, it's made for transmissions. A diesel fuel additive is made for, yes you quessed it, diesel fuel. They have cetane boosters, water dispersers, fuel stabalizers, the list goes on. Check here: http://www.powerservice.com/dk/
Do a google search for diesel fuel additives and you will have enough reading to keep you busy for weeks.
Also if you check with injector shops they recommend a fuel additive not trans fluid. Beans Diesel Performance, Swamps, etc.
Ok. I Also Noticed That When The Motor Warms Up It Has A Loping Idle, It Doesnt Do It When The Motor Is Cold Just When It Gets Warm And It Goes Back To An Idle. Driving Down The Road Its Ok. When You Pull Up To A Light And Push The Clutch In After A Few Seconds It Starts Loping Again. Push The Throttle Down A Sec And It Goes Away For A Minute Then Returns, What The Heck Is The Problem.
I just have to wonder what would happen if DOT dipped the tank. Red trans. fluid in diesel looks just like dyed off road fuel. $2000 fine, can't drive the truck & completely disassemble and clean the tanks and fuel system.
