Looking for answers!!!
Hello everyone. I am counting on the expertise of those seasoned Ford community people to help me purchase the correct vehicle to tow my 24' pontoon boat. I was looking into used Expeditions thinking that they would be able to handle the 4-5,000# load I assume my pontoon plus trailer must weigh, though I am not sure of the exact weight. I was then told the Explorer could handle that as well. I dont want to put much money into this vehicle since it will be mainly used for this pontoon, but I also dont want to not be safe and get the model which would handle the tow the best? Any and all suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks!

any idea if this is a good brand or is there a proven brand out there I should look at.

What you are trying to do with a reverse-rotation Dana 60?
Why did you ask your question at the end of an eleven-year-old thread?
Why did you ask a technical question in the "New Member Introductions" forum?
