2001 F-350 7.3 Psd Rbp Kit 6in Lift 37 In Tires Rebuilt Trans With Billet Torque Unknown Internals But It Shifts Violently.the Problem I Have An External Cooler After Market Pulling My Toybox The Trans Flashed Over Temp Codes.temp Gauge Was 220 Degrees.this Guy Showed Me His Trans Cooler And A Bypass Line Removal Kit.he States It Never Gets Hot Now After The Bypass Line Was Removed From Side Of Trans.where Can I Get This Kit He Said It Is 60.00 Dollars.the Trans Has One Line In And One Out No Cross Over Tube.any Info Will Help Thanks.also The Third Shift When Pulling Weight Shakes The Truck Violently It Hits So Hard It Scares You Any Ideas The Trans Shop Reduced The Shift All The Way Down According To Them.dont Want To Break It Again.(note First Shift Full Throttle Barks Tires Not Towing Set On 2 Controller Evolution.third Shift Very Hard Not Towing When Towing Painful.

and ask about the bypass delete. Off the top of my head, I remeber reading that it is not a good idea to delete this pipe, just cant remember why.

I rebuilt my trans about 2 months ago and reinstalled the bypass line, after cleaning it. I felt that "hot oil is better than no oil" if one of the coolers got restricted. Sounds like your trans has the '.500" race version' of the line modulator vave. Mine has the .427 diameter plunger (HD version) and shifts hard enough to bark tires also, but shifts smooth but firm at light-to-moderate throttle. There was a post on how to check the bypass line and coolers for a restriction. You may have search for it, if someone doesn't chime in.
