door chime question

door chime question
I drive an 06 ford 550 with 6.0. Sometimes I would like to have the drivers door open with the keys still in the ignition, but the the door dinging drives me nuts. Does anyone know the procedure for disabling the chime when key is in ignition and door is open. I never lock the truck so I do not need the chime anyway. Thanks guys.
