HELP installing 00m12

HELP installing 00m12

I was installing the 00m12 kit and I got as far as the Oil jacket screw. Well it stripped! EZ outs are not doing the trick. Any suggestions?

I got the screw out! NOW it runs like **** and makes a bad clanking sound and idles rough.

No one has a clue of what this could be? and hints atleast?

Just to be clear you installed the updated tensioner as well as the oil restrictor? If it's still making noise maybe the chain guide (cassette) broke.

Yes I replaced with the updated kit and oil restrictor. I got it to back togather to find it doesnt run rite as it seems to be missing and knocking. Any clues for me?

Go back and check all vacum hose and electrical connections. Is the check engine light on?

I havent had to running long but hasnt came on in that time? Do you think the egr valve going to the itake manifold or manifold not being tight got cause it ot knock?
