How much is too much?????

I've been searching for info on the center bearing to see if mine needs replacing. All I have seen is if it has excessive play. I guess my guess my question is how much play is excessive??

as long as bearing is not loose in rubber mount it should be fine, normally you can move it

I have been experiencing vibration @ about 40 to 50 mph and I seen in previous threads that this may be due to a center bearing. I am trying to determine if mine needs replaced. As I said before all I could find is it has excessive play in it then it needs to be replaced, so I was wondering how much play is excessive.
