So, heres another question for my AOD on my '94 5.0, the fluid seems to becoming out from behind my converter, the converter isn't cracked, and I can't see whats leaking. I believe its the front pump seal or shaft seal, but I could be wrong. Any comments?
E4OD or AOD? I have had this happen to several units. I have found that overheating caused that issue. I installed an aux trans coooler and this really helped. I am not sure if its the same problem but cheap insurance to install a large trans cooler. On one truck I completely bypassed the rad trans cooler and used just the biggest gvw I could get. Just my 2 ccents.
Its an E4OD, and I wasn't overheating, I imagine it as the fact that I have bad tranny fluid and I was shoving my fifth-wheel around in 4WD, I just bought this truck so I am stillworking out the kinks in it.

...Lol, that would be a very good way to overheat the tranny.
"shoving" the fifth wheel, with bad fluid would overheat the trans and might now show up on the coolant gauge. Just stating that when these transmissions heat up they do the same thing. Hope this all helps
