'89 F250 I6
Looking at picking up an '89 F250, I6 w/5speed.
Here's the problem: It has a crack in the bellhousing where the starter
bolts into. The ends have broken off of the starter mounting area, so it needs repair. Can this be welded here? Isn't that area aluminum? The guy just pop-starts it right now, doesn't use starter.
