Found it, felt it and listened to it then unplugged it. That noisy little SOB has an awful lot of wires plugged into it and that has me wondering does it disconnect anything else except what dings on my OBS, Ign & head lights?
Is there something else that dings that I don;t know about and possibly not working? Should i be worried?
well, ur gonna hafta look for someone with some jumper cables. no other chime, once chimer is unplugged u wont have to deal with the dang sound anymore
I noticed with mine unplugged my emergency flashers didnt work (and I just so happened to need then at the time). Plugged it back in and they work fine.
FYI you can just unplug (at the chime box) the wire that goes to ignition switch, This way it will not chime with the key in, but it will chime every time you open the door with the lights on because it can no longer tell if the key is in or out. Just my $.02

I like your $.02 but...... how do you know which wire goes to the ignition switch? Do you have a photo, the color or location on the ding a ling box???
