Anybody ever had any issues with their engine or tranny while running the SCT tuner? You know, the typical 6.0 issues; blown head gaskets, warped heads, turbos, leaking coolant, ect.............
I know that most of the readers on FTE are "avid" SCT users and believers so please do not remind me or this thread will go WAY off course as they easily do. I would really like to hear from the ones who have had ANY problems, if any.

Just taking a pole before a buy.....
Just remember the SCT can be purchased with "canned" tunes from SCT or its dealers. Also the SCT can be purchased with "custom" tunes. The advantage to the SCT is the Custom Tunes, with custom tunes a "competent" 6.0 tuner writer can provide you with a custom tune specifically written for your truck, load and driving style. In addition this custom tune can be modified in the future to suit your needs if they change. Look closely at who you purchase your "custom tunes" from as some offer lifetime tunes for a flat fee and others charge per the tune or change of tune. And make sure you get tunes for your 6.0 from someone who knows and understands the 6.0 & Torqueshift. Do not purchase the SCT with "canned" tunes as you will be defeating the purpose of the SCT & custom tunes.
The two custom tune writers of choice for the 6.0 & Torqueshift at FTE (and many other 6.0 forums) is Matt at Spartan Diesel and Eric at Innovative Diesel.
