Glow plug prices
Howdy All,
Stumbled across this somewhere else so maybe it is old news. Autozone has motorcraft glow plugs P/N ZD11 for 2.99 on line. I called the local store and they wanted 6.97 a piece.
The guy also told me it was a "Spark plug for a diesel"
I told them what was listed on the website and was told the price must be wrong. I placed an order from the website for 8 with standard Fed-Ex delivery for 32.19.

Many have said you can print out the web page and bring it to get that price instore. Its not a wrong price! I bought a dozen (all they had) 2 weeks ago at the store with no priint out for 2.99 a piece.

I wasn't going to argue with the guy. On the phone he was insistent that the price was wrong so I told him I'll just order online. Parts should be here in a couple of days.

i just got back from autozone 1 hour ago. 8 for 24 bucks. gonna put some brand new ones in for the new owner. i wish they would have been that cheap the first go around which was 9 bucks which was still cheaper than fords price at the time of 24 a piece. same bag same part.... some chit just dont make sense ya hear.

I had to do the same thing that Craig did, order them on line. I called the local AutoZone and told them the web page said $2.99 and he said "I can't even by them that cheap." He wanted $9.99 ea. So I bought 8 on line for the same price that craig did.
One strang thing that happened was that I entered my Sacramento office zip code and the GP's came up for $2.99. Later, I pulled the web page up and entered my home Zip which is 20 miles further East and the GP's came up $9.99. Go figure.

I just got an E-mail from AutoZone stating that either I cancelled my order or the item is out of stock.
I sent a reply that will probably get me another response. They just don't want to sell those things on the west coast.

happeetxn, my autozone had 8 left in stock at the $2.99 price. If you want them I can buy them tomorrow and then send them to you, you pay for them and the shipping. Just let me know, and if you want them send me a pm with your shipping address and contact info.
