Chasing a gremlin-hard start-stalling+more
I would like to say hello to everbody. I am in need of some help with my psd it's a 2000 F-350 DRW 7.3l with 97,560 miles with hypertech programmer 3 with a cold air intake and 4in exhaust. What the problem that I am having is on a cold start-up the truck runs ruff then after a min stalls. Once I finally get it running for a few minutes if I take off to drive I will only make about 5 miles before the engine boggs down and stalls with large amount of white smoke. Once the truck gets to normal orperating temps everything is fine until I hit I-75 and go 70 mph anything over that I start to get a large amount of white smoke and the truck losses power for a sec then picks back up and it will keep this up until I slow down to 70. While the truck is parked I can recreate the same problem if I keep the rpms at roughly 2600-2850 and with a scanner hooked up there are no codes popping up and I went ahead and changed the cam sensor, fuel filter and recharged the air filter but with no codes I am having problems trying to diagnos this one and need you help...Thanks
