Alright everyone...As a lot of you know, I have been sorting out the bugs from my 302 to 331 Stroker conversion. It's finally getting me to work and back. Everything broke in smooth as butter. Two small issues I am trying to resolve:
1) The AMP light popped on. Alternator checks fine, grounds are fine, and my voltage gauge still reads great. What else can it be?
2) Didn't touch the tranny during the swap, just disconnected and left it in the truck. Lost some fluid, but replaced it. Now, the tranny in overdrive is sluggish to shift. Its an AOD, so I drop her into drive and it's fine. If I come to a stop, and try to take off again, it revs, but takes a second to slip into gear. Fluid level is perfect, any ideas? Is it possible that the fluid hasn't fully pressurized the system?
Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks!
I double checked grounds, even ran jumper cables to bypass and see if i couldn't ground it out with them. still nothing. As far as the tranny goes, fluid is fine, but the cable could be the issue. Thanks for the tip.
