Looking for a grill cover for the cold weather months. I have 6.4PSD in a 2008 F250SD. Any sugestions other than cardboard? I would like a custom fit with adjustable vents.
I don't think anybody is making winter grill inserts for the 2008 yet. And unfortuently for me once they do it might not fit the FX4 grill :-( If you find any thing let us know.

If your truck is a JOB2 PSD you may want to look around inside to see if a winter cover is hiding anywhere in the cab. It is just the standard vinyl cover with a Ford logo on it. JOB2 PSD's (atleast the ones going to cold weather areas) are being shipped with them from the factory.
If your truck does not have one, you can get it from Ford.

Some good info right there, did not know FMC was doing that.
Why wouldn't it help a gas engine warm up faster and provide more interior heat? I don’t see how it could help on a diesel but not on a gas engine.
The gasser would warm up faster (overheat faster too) and might provide more interior heat, but this is not the main reason for a winter front on a diesel. The reason diesels use them is to keep the engine hot enough for proper fuel combustion, gassers do not have this problem.
will having a front cover help with interior heat? I have a 2006 psd and it is cold in the winter where i live 6 weeks or more at -30 to -58. My cabin is cold all the time around town but when I get on the highway and get the rpms up it produces great heat. Any suggestion? Also, anyone hear if the 2009 F-150 will come in a 4.4L diesel. I hear don the net it would but the dealer said it would never happen?
