I have 18 in rimes and the 4x4 shop manager told me that i could not get anything smaller than 18, but i would like to atleast go to a 17. more options for tires and cost. did you have to get an offset and if so what was it.
regarding the BS, it is stock on these wheels at 5.5".

Looks real simiiar to the Pro Comp's you got. Lookin good BTW!
yea, they only stick out maybe an inch at most from the fender. So far I havent noticed or heard any rocks being thrown up against the body.

Anyone know if there would be a whole lot of difference between 305/65/17 and 285/70/17 for fuel economy?
I believe the tires that were on the stock wheels were a 275/70. My new tires werent to much bigger than what I already had on the truck and so far I havent really noticed to much of a change. I was averaging around 13mpg around town. I prefered the larger and wider tire.. just my preference.

Also, this is with 3.55's, not 3.73's.

Reasons for 285 over 305:
Better MPGs
Won't decrease the affective gear ratio to much compaired to stock.
Better acceleration(b/c of the close to stock affective gear ratio, which in turn results in more MPGs).
And they're cheaper.
I am not worried about the price because they will be free. I was more worried about fuel economy because i do a lot of driving, mainly city, by being my kids taxi service. So do you think there would be a significant fuel different between the 2. I like the beefer/fuller look of 305, but it is not worth it if I need to buy a gas station to go along with the tires.
Thanks

There will be a drop in mileage with the 305s compaired to 285s..... buy how much... I'm not sure.
But your acceleration will be a little worst, and you'll get a little less MPGs, but would either one be enough to justify not getting 305s, I'd have to talk to someone that tried both before to see.

where did you get your running boards (nurf bars). I didn't get them on my 2007 and now I wish I had them. How much should I pay for aftermarket nurf bars?
