Holley 750 mods??
I have a 77 F250 with a ....let's say "Moderately" (around 500hp) built 460 that currently runs a Holley model 4150 750 cfm vacuum sec. 4 bbl. i use this truck pretty much 100% for sled pulling. The rules where I pull with stipulate no more of a carb. than what I have. (750 max, must have vacuum secondaries, no double pumpers) However I'm told by the guy who built my engine, and others, that i would benefit greatly from an 850. I don't know much about the inner workings of a carb., but is there any way to modify a 750 to get 850- like performance out of it??? Sorry if this is a dumb question!!

Can you physically modify the carb body? Remove the choke air horn or add a K&N Stub Stack to improve the airflow slightly. There is not much else you can do, besides send it to one of the Pro carb tuners.
