? about an 89 Bronco
Looking at an 89 Bronco for $500. I don't know many details yet as I have not seen it. What I do know is that is a 300-6 and 5sp. manual and a 4X4.
Here is the questions.
How hard is it to remove the back seat? Are the front seats buckets or bench? If buckets can they be replaced with a bench?

The rear seat is designed to be removed easily. (It folds up and out of the way anyway). Removal amounts to a couple of pins being pulled. Both bucket and bench seats were available in front. Will simply depend on what was ordered on that truck. The floor has the mounting holes for OEM buckets AND bench seats so the swap from one type to the other is simple enough.
Personally, the 300 with a 5-speed and manual t-case is an ideal setup. I'd jump at it in a heartbeat. By the way, if you don't want it, where is it?

i saw a 96 the other day that had 4 captains chairs in it. was this ever an option? it was kinda like a centurion seat setup, weird.
yeah id jump on that bronco. only then better would be an older carb model with a 4 speed

I decided to keep looking. Talked to the owner today. Truck is not that great, 186K which is young yet for the 300-6 but I would not be gaining anything over my current ride which has 154K. I want a Bronco but for once in my life I have the luxury of time to wait for a "good one" to come along
