when do we set the clocks back an hour? I thought they changed it and made it a couple weeks later this year, but the local moron on the radio station said to do it tonight? when is it really supposed to be?
when - tonite at 2am, or early sunday morning at 2am, however you want to look at it.
why - i have no idea and never heard a reasonable reason for it and i think we only do it just because it has always been that way. i say leave it however it is in the summer.
It's not always been that way. It started during WWI. Supposedly you save 1% of energy this way. In the olden days it was easier for the farmers to have the sun rise an hour earlier. Don't ask me how.
Also, I am at work tonight, so I get to work an hour longer. BS. No overtime for it either, because bossman says that I will work on hour less in the spring when we move them forward again. What if I'm off that day?

And remember... ya can't set the clock back before going to bed or it isn't legal. You have to get up at 2, set it back and then go back to bed. Just remember to turn your 2am alarm off or you'll be getting up all night and setting the clock back.
