im looking at putting on a 4bbl carb. the edlebrok 500cfm one that i heard was popular w/ the 6's. but i cant seem to find the intake.anyon know where i can find it?i was also looking a dynomax headears, and running a flowmaster 50 single in dual out and staright out the back. any suggestions?
I didn't see one at the FTE store, so try J.C. Whitney. I believe they have a nice intake in their catalog for a 4bbl on the 300 I6.

Currently running the Edelbrock 500 cfm on an Offenhauser C series intake manifold. Hooker pro comp ceramic coated headers, msd 6 al with blaster coil. AOD tranny (modified with 4r70W gear set and AODE bands, beefed up direct clutch) with 2.47 gears in the rear. ( 3.25 gears being installed now... it lugs the engine in overdrive at 65 mph.) Detroit Locker on the way. One problem with the setup is when the weather is very cold and damp. Carb freezing is a major problem. I have heard that Clifford Performance has a water heated intake manifold. I may have to look into that. Oh yea, this is a 1977 F100.
i usually go to jegs. that was my first option. i didnt see any. also the carb im looking at is this one http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=35749&prmenbr=361 for offroading.or would i be fine with just going with this one http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=5470&prmenbr=361
I see the Whitney (www.jcwhitney.com) catalog has a 4bbl high performance intake manifold by Offenhauser for the Ford 300 I6. It is part number 73NN7654R for $199.99. They also have a catalog special of free shipping/handling for orders of $200 or more (buy a 1$ item to go with it) or 50% off s&h on orders of 80 to 199.99$.
