I've been struggling, off an on, for about an hour trying to finish the SS HPX install. Got the passenger side in. Boy ,that driver's side is a bear. I've tweaked the line a bit this way and that trying to get it centered and fully inserted. No such luck ! Am not struggling hard enough or am I missing something here. Your input will be most appreciated.
did you put the head adapters in first? since that should make it much easyer to do, and after you got those in this line should flex enough to get it to center after you get one side started.
i got the flex line , maybe Kris will help you out since he has SS HPX. but do like i said and you should be good.
but before you do does look close or its way off or close to the holes?? cause if its way off than you might have to bend it a little.
Once you get the two studs on the manifold start the thread on passenger side and then go back too the drivers side and flex that line in to get it started. Then once you have them both started you can go back and start tighting things down.

What he said. I had to manhandle mine somewhat, but just be careful not to kink the tube.
Got 'er done ! Thanks for all your help. I cheated a little bit though. I put on my FTE Supporter T-shirt and got a bigger hammer. I't s lookin' good. Also put in the 6637 mod. Took out the K&N.
