Superduty Keyless Entry

I had my first incident of locking my keys in my truck. Running late, dropping the boy off at day care.

Does anyone have any info on how to reset the code or is it hidden some where in the truck?? I called the dealer and they want 75 bucks to it with a scanner..

I just payed 30 dollars to have my ford dealer retreive mine...... I guess on some trucks its written on some box behind the stereo on the firewall. I couldnt find it though.

that sucks (locking your keys inside). the only way I know to change the code is that you have to have the original code to ativate the change process. so you mignt have to spend the money at a shop to get the original code -good luck

It's written on the VSM which is behind the radio, on the firewall as a-rod said. It's not easy to get to, but that's the reason it's there. Look in your owners manual and see if it has been written down in there. That's where I found mine.
