Can anybody tell me how to bench test a 6v fuel gauge to see if it works.
Thank You, Chris

put power to it and ground the sender connection. If the gauge works, it should peg the needle

Hook up an ohm-meter with one lead to its ground and another to its terminal. Then, move the float up and down and watch the meter for ohms of resistance. Different sending units have different ranges of resistance but if yours is working, you should see the meter move from empty to full in a smooth range.
