Greetings to all:
Just joined up, having bought a 2005 F-250 w/6.0 PS engine. I'll be using it for a little fun, but mostly towing of a travel trailer. It's my first venture into the diesel world, other than the military.
My question: I'm told it's safe to mix a bit of Jet Fuel (Jet A) with the diesel engines. How much is a safe mix for more efficient operation and are there any cautions against it? Since Jet A and diesel are just well-refined kerosene, I can see where it should be compatible. The engine has about 69K on it. Any mods to the engine I need to make? It's all stock at the moment.
