This is my first post in this forum. In fact, I am a new diesel owner having bought a 2002 F-350 7.3L to pull my first ever Fifth wheel.
I am hearing a lot about these "chips" to improve fuel milage and power. Is it the concensus of opinion that these work as advertised and how does Ford feel about them? Is there one brand better than another?
Chips are the easiest horsepower you can get for your truck and they are a popular item of dicussion in the tech forums. Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the list. There is a board that deals with them and you will also find them discussed in the Super Duty forum. Check them out and and see what others are using.
