tune up and stalling...
my truck is a 93 f-150 4x4 auto with around 78,000 original miles and i want to know what exactly is involved in a good tune up? im thinking plugs, wires, rotor, fuel filter and im stuck...i am going to upgrade to a MSD 6a box and MSD tfi coil w/ matching harness. oil and filter have been changed every 3000 miles and i have a k&n filter in, but nothing else has been changed since i own it frum janurary.
also when i start it after its been sitting overnight or when im at school it will surge up like normal, then idle down and then stall. it maily happenes when its cooler out but it will run much better, when its warmer out it will surge up then idle down but wont stall, but it doesnt run so good. overall it runs great, but when its warmer and more humid out it wont have as much punch to it. but ill go to start it again and it'll start fine, idle well and run good. ne suggestions?!

tune up and stalling...
Plugs, wires, cap rotor, air filter, fuel filter, breather filter, pcv valve and you may as well change your oil too 
While you're in there, taking off the IAC is a simple matter and shooting that with some electronics-safe cleaner would probably be a good thing.
If you're still having a problem, beg/borrow/steal a scanner (yours is OBD1 so you'll need a ford-specific scanner) and see if you get any codes. If you can't find someone that will let you borrow one, grab a test light and search on google for TFI-IV scancodes and how to check them manually. That should give you an idea of what your problem is.
