Maybe some of you can help me.I just bought a 3500 Ford backhoe and need a repair manual for it.My local TSC has one for series 2000,3000,4000 tractors.Do I need to find one for a 3500 hoe?I'm wondering if the TSC book would cover my engine, trans, rear.

Helm prints all the Ford manuals, and has for years: helminc.com
The 3500 industrial is somewhat different than the ag version. It would be similiar to a 3000. It should have a 3 cylinder diesel with a manifold heater.
Here is a link to a site I get equipment manuals from.
There is a seperate manual for the backhoe, loader, and tractor. You will probably only need the tractor manual, as the repair and parts for the loader and hoe are pretty selfexplanatory. Let me know if you have any questions. I have used and worked on Ford tractors all of my life

Helms prints the Ford AUTOMOTIVE manuals, not the Ford agriculture and industrial equipment manuals. These were printed by Intertec which currently supplies the I&T shop manuals for most makes and models of farm tractors.
I own a '72 3500 loader/hoe. You need manuals for the industrial version, as someone else has stated. Similarity to a ag version ends with "they look about the same". Typically tere will be a manual for the tractor then 2 other manuals for the front & rear attachments. you'll need to check serial/mod. #'s on those also. There is at least 2 maybe more hoe attachments for my 1972 machine.
Congrats on your new machine though. The Fords are one of the easiest older machines to source repair parts for.
