Heater problems
I have a 95 Aerostar AWD with a heater in the back and front of the van. Getting all kinds of heat from the back heater. My front heater core is getting nice a hot but there is no heat. The blower is working great, blowing air though the vents great. Checked the hoses under the hood and they are both nice an hot. As I checked the hoses I noticed a choke type unit on the hoses that lead to the core and was wonder if that coke might have something to do with it. The housing around the front core id getting nice and hot but no heat blows out. Kind of think it's the core but not to sure.

That is (I believe) a by-pass valve which operates when the AC is ON to stop hot water circulating the heater core, dont need heat in the core with AC on & heater set to HOT.
