I want to change all my IC tube boots. Can I buy a long piece of hose and cut my own, or do you have to buy them by the piece? Where can I get them NAPA ?? What size ? Are they all the same size ? truck is 2001 F250. Done the CCV mod. What to clean up the oily mess.
You can go to a hydraulic supply house, and get low pressure hydraulic return hose. I bought the kit, and that is what the boots are made of. The kit did come with new clamps, however. They have a spring which keeps them from being too tightly clamped, and damaging the tubing by collapsing it.
I cant remember exactly which vender but one of the sites sponsors sells a complete kit, blue in color. Someone should come along shortly and chime in.
you can cut your own for the 4 boots on the spider end of it with marine exhaust hose..but the IC end is 2 different sizes..it steps up from the IC pipe to the IC..as far as clamps..it depends how bad of shape yours are in..
