Tranmission Interchange Question

Was wondering if a E40D out of a 93 F150 4x4 5.8, will interchange with a E40D out of a 94 F250 4X4 7.3 PSD. I have a guy that would like to purchase the trans out of my 93 F150, but need to know if it will swap with the one in his truck.

If the cases were swapped it would bolt in, but it wouldn't live. The 5.8L version does not have the stronger internals that the diesel version uses.
